AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR A MONTHLY SALARY OF ALDEREgT OF THE
CITY OF WEST ME~'HIS.
BE IT ORDAINED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION l; The salary of the Aldermen shall be the sum of

SECTION 2; All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
here~rith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: EMERGE6TCY CLAUSE: It being determined that the
City does not have adequate provisions for the payment of salaries
of Aldermen of the City of West Memphis, an emergency is declared
to exist, and this ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health, and safety it shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
