AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 225 PASSED AND APPROVED
ON THE 3RD DAY OF JUNE, 1952.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 225 passed and approved on the
3rd day of June, 1952, zoned Lot I.F, Block 5 of Eugene Woods
Subdivision as "A" Single Family Residence District.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of .the o-~ners of said property
that it be rezoned to a "D" Commercial District.
NOW, TI~REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF 61EST MEMPHIS
SECTION l: CLASS "D" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT EXTENDED:
That the lands described as follows: Lot !~, Block 5
of the Eugene Woods Subdivision be and the same is hereby
rezoned as Class "D" Commercial District.
SECTION 2: EMERGENCY CLAUSE:
It appearing that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety of the citizens of West Memphis, an emergency is
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
