AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN A C-1, GENERAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT, TO ALLOW AN ARCADE, AT 111 N. 10TH STREET, WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission
requesting a Special Use Permit to allow an arcade in a C-1, General Business District, as
required by Ordinance 1988.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission, on January 30, 2002 and the Planning Commission recommended that a
Special Use Permit be granted to allow an arcade in a C-1, General Business District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
111North 10th Street
Lots 2 and 3
Thompson 1st Addition
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, allowing an arcade
in a C-l, General Business District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
