ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance i~TO. 86, passed and
approved on the 11th day of April, 1941 be and the same is here-
by amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1.
That there is hereby created a Light and auater Commission of
West Memphis, Arkansas, composed of the iv~ayor of the City as Chair-
man and five citizens who are qualii'ied electors of tYie municipality
and to be appointed by the City Council. No member of the Commission
appointed by the City Council shall hold any elective or other
appointive office under the municipal government while a member of
the Commission nor be a candidate for any elF~~ctive office, city,
state, or county while a member of said Commission.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hez•eby repealed and this Ordinance shall be in .full force and
effect from and after its passage.
