IrtcLIISrvE, BLOCx FIVE (5): LOTS ©NE - TxzR,TE~t (1-13) n~cLVSIVE, BLOCK sIx (6), (3IBSON ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WEST ME~ff'HIS, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, Notice was duly published of a hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis to be had and held on the 8th day of April, 195!1, for the purpose of coning the lands hereinafter described, and WHEREAS on the 8th day of April, 1951, pursuant to said Notice, the Planning Commission met for the purpose of determining in what classifica- tion the lands hereinafter described should be coned, and after hearing the owners of said lands, all other interested persons, and from all in- formation, and all other things before the Planning Commission, it was the finding of the Planning Commission that said lands should be $oned as an "A" Single Family Residence District, and WHEREAS, Notice was duly published on the 21st day of April, 195'!1, that a hearing would be held before the City Council at ?:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 1954, for the purpose of hearing all interest®d parties in connection with the zoning of said lands hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, .at said meeting the owners of said lands appeared and re- quested that said lands be zoned as an "A" Six-gle Family Residence District, and WHEREAS, no persons appeared to protest against zoning said lands as an "A" Single Family Residence District, and after hearing the owners and other interested persons, the Council finds that said lands should be zoned as an "A" Single Family Residence District, now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEL~IIS: SECTION I. "A" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT: That the following. y lands, to-wit: Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Seven (7); Lots One - Twenty-Two (1-22) inclusive, Block Four (!~); Lots One - Thirty-Four (1w34) inclusive, Block Five (5); Lots One -Thirteen (1-13) inclusive, Block Sin (6) of the Gibson Addition to the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, as reflected by plat of record in Plat Book 2 at page 74 in the Office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-0ff icio Recorder within and for Crittenden County, Arkansas. be, and the same are, hereby zoned as an "A" Single Family Residence District. SECTION II. ORDINANCES IN COIJFLICT HEREWITIi REPEALED: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION III. EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It being determined by the City Council that the above lands are, on this date, not zoned, and it further appearing to the Council that said lands are in the process of being de- veloped, and having valuable improvements erected thereon, and it being further necessary that said lands be zoned before being further developed, and this Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and happiness of the people of the City of West Memphis, an eMergency is hereby decl ared to exist and this Ordinance will take effect and be in full force innnediately upon its passage and approval.
