AN CFtDINANCE TO ZONE AVONDRLE GARDENS 5UBDIUTSION
FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS

WHQ3.EAS, notice was duly published on the 2l~th day of December,
1951, that a hearing before the City Council at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday,
January 18, 1955, for the purpose of hearing all interested parties in
connection with the zoning of said lands hereir¢ter described.
WHEREAS, at said meeting it was requested that said lands be
zoned as follows:
All lots in Blocks One (1), Tiro (2), Three (3),
Four (!:), Five (5) and Six (6) to be zoned as
Class A Single Family Residential District
and
WHEREAS, no persons appeared to protest against zoning of said
lands and the council finds that said lands should be zoned as requested,
now therefore,
BE TT CTtDA.INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE QTY OF WEST MEMPHIS:
SECTION I. "A~' SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT: That the
following lands, to-wit: Blocks 1, 2, 3, ~., 5, and 6 of Avondale Gardens
Subdivision First Addition to the City of West Memphis, being located in
the South Half (S~) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section One (1)
Township Six (6) North, Range Eight (8) East, Crittenden County, Arkansas,
be and the same are hereby zoned as an "A'~ Single Family Residential District.
SECTION TI. ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH REPEALED: All Or-
dinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. COPY OF ORDINANCE FILED FOR REOOR.D: A copy of this
ordinance, when duly certified by the City Clerk shall be subject to being
filed in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder within and
for Crittenden County, Arkansas, for record.
ENACTED AND DAINED by the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
