AN ORDINANCE REGIUIRING Alt. PRIVIES AND
WATER CLOSETS TU BE CONNECTED WITH 7HE
SEWER SYSTEM IF WITHIN 300 FEET OF A
PIPE LINE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION (. It shall b¢ unlawful for anyone to build or
construct/privy or water closet within Three Hundred (3001 feet
of a pipe line of the sewer system of the City of W¢at Memphis,
Arkansas, without connecting same in proper manner with such
pipe line.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for anyone to use, rnain-
it
twin or rent for use, any privy or water closet within Three
Hundred 13001 feet of a pipe line of the sewer system of the City
of West Memphis unless same is properly connected with such pipe
line, for the purpose of draining and carrying away all human
excrement or other offal from said privy or closet.
SECTION 3. Anyone violating any provision of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine of not leas than
Ten Dollars ($10.001 nor more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.001,
and each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 4. A11 Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and become in full
