AN ORDINANCE 1n ZONE {akiEELER St1BDIUISION
TO THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
WHEREAS, notice was duly published on the 20th day of September,
1955, that a hearing before the City Council at 3 p.m. on October 6, 1955,
for the purpose of hearing all interested parties in connection with the
zoning of said lands hereinafter described.
WHEREAS, at said meeting it was requested that the following
described lands, to-wit:
All lots in Block 1, 2, 3, !4, 5, 6, ?, 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, and Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, in Block 18
of Replat of the Wheeler Subdivision to the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, as reflected by a plat
of record in plat book 2 at page lI3 and 111 in
the office of the Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio
Recorder within and for Crittenden County, to be
zoned as follows:
A21 lots in Blocks 1, 2, 3, !~, 5, b, 7, 8, and 9 as a "G" Industrial
District, and
All lots in Blocks 10, 11 and 12, and Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in
Hlock 18, as a "D'~ Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, no persons appeared to protest against zoning of said lands,
and the Council finds that said lands should be zoned as requested,
NOW, THEREFCf{E,
BE IT ORDtiINED by the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
SECTION I. '~G" Industrial District. That the following lands, to-
wit All lots in Blocks 1, 2, 3, fit, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, of Wheeler Subdivision
to the City of West Memphis being located in the North Half (N~) of Section 8,
Township 6 North, Range 9 East, Crittenden County, Arkansas, be and the same
are hereby zoned as a "G" Industrial District.
SECTION II. "D" Commercial District. That the following lands, to-
wit: All lots in blocks 10, 11 and 12 and lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in Block 18
of Wheeler Subdivision to the City of West Memphis being located in the North
Half (N~) of Section 8, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, Crittenden County,
Arkansas, be and the same are hereby zoned as a "D" Commercial District.

5ECTION III. ORDINANCES IN C~JFI..ICT HEREWITH REPEALED. All
Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. COPY OF ORDINANCE FILED FCR RECORD. A copy of this
Ordinance and duly certified by the City Clerk shall be subject to being filed
in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder within and for
Crittenden County, Arkansas, for record.

Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held at the
City Ha11 in the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, at 3:00 P.M.
on October 6, 1955, for the purpose of zoning the following
descr3.bed property situated in the City of West Msmph3.s, Arkansas,
to wit
Blocks 10, 11, 12, and N2 of Block 18 of Tekieeler Addition as
nDn Commercial.
Blocks 1, 2, 3, fit, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Wheeler Addition as
"G" Industrial.
All persons having ob3ections to the said zoning being
established are hereby notified to be present and make known their
objections if aay.
