~ Be it ordained by the IvTayar 8azl the City Council of the
(City of 6Yest Memphis, Arkansas, that the first paragraph oP Ordinance No. 109
be amended to read as follows:
The business of owning, operating, or leasing of automatic

musical instruments, sutcanatic weighing machines or automatic gran slot machines
is hereby declared to be a privilege, and it is further declared that any person
individual, corporation, fine or partnership, agent or receiver thereof, who
is the owner, operator, or lessor of any such machines shall pay an annual
license fee thereon for the privilege of owning, operating, or leasing said
machines as follo-rrs:

It is hereby found and declared that the passage of this
ordinance is necessary Por the orderly function and operation of the municipal
affairs, and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
