AN ORDINANCE li~NTITLED AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE LOCATION AND USE
OF BUILDING VIITHIN THE CITY OF V'1EST 1~~EMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED:
That the zoning ordinances of the City of ti+lest
Memp~iis be, and they are, hereby amended to classify the following
described lands, to-wit:
East Fifty (50) Feet of Lot Sevin (7), Block
Thirteen (13) of the Compress Subdivision to
the City of West Memphis as shown by plat
found of record in Plat Book "1" page 12 in the
Office of the Circuit Court Clerk of Crittenden
County, said lands lying and being situated in
the Southeast Quarter (SEA:) of Section Twelve
(12), Township Six (6) North, Range Eight (~)
East, Crittenden County, Arkansas,
as commercial property; that the lands hereabove be re-classified
and re-zoned to change the same from residential to commercial
property.
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and it
being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, this ordinance shall take effect and
have full force and effect immediately upon its passage and
approval.
