2236 RESOLUTION NO. 2236
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE STREET
DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. CREATION OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT. There is hereby
created and established a Street Department of the City of West Memphis, which, shall
hereafter be known as a division of the Public Works Department and which Department
shall be under the management and supervision of the Public Works Director of the City
of West Memphis, who shall be appointed by the Mayor.
SECTION 2. DUTIES OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT. The Street Department
will be subject to the City's Personnel Manual, as the Public Works Director will advise
administrative duties as assigned.
