AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR 1598 E.
BROADWAY;.PERMITTING AN AUTOMOTIVE DEALER-USED/AUTO
. . REPAIR GARAGE-IN A C-2 OPEN-DISPLAY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, a plication has been made to the City Planning Commission, on,
October 28, 2020,.for Special Use Permit allowing an Automotive Dealer-Used/Repair
Garage in a C-2 Open isplay District at 1598 E. Broadway as required by Ordinance
No. 1988, as amende .
WHEREAS, a ter notice had been'published for the time and in the manner as
provided by OrdinancAo. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, and the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Use Permit allowing an Automotive Dealer-Used in
a C-2 Open Display District.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
1598 E. Broadway.
West Memphis, AR
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing an Automotive
Dealer-Used/Auto Repair-Garage in a C-2 Open Display District, subject to the following
conditions:
1. No outside storage of wrecked vehicles on the lot
2. Vehicles for repair must be inside structure or behind sight-proof fence
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
