AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR 700 E.
BROADWAY,PERMITTING A FUEL STATION/CONVENIENCE STORE IN A
C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on,
November 18, 2020, for a Special Use Permit allowing a Fuel Center/Convenience Store
in a C-1 General Commercial District at 700 E. Broadway as required by Ordinance No.
1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, and the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Use Permit, with conditions, allowing a Fuel
Center/Convenience Store in a C-1 General Commercial District at 700 E. Broadway.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
700 E. Broadway
West Memphis, AR
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing a Fuel Center/Convenience
Store in a C-1 General Commercial District, subject to the following conditions:
1. In accordance with attached Site Plan
2. Primary structure on lot would front Broadway, and would have a zero ft.
Setback from the right of way.
3. Required Landscaping on south and west property lines would meet West
Memphis Landscape ordinance requirements.
4. Primary structure would have brick façade on South and West sides.
5. Final approval of site plan by Design Review Commission
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
