MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,
HELD AT THE CITY HALL IN SAID CITY ON THE 5TH DAY OF MAY 1966.
The City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, met in regular session at
its regular meeting place in West Memphis, Arkansas, at 3:00 o'clock P.M. on the 5th Day
of May, 1966. The following were present: Mayor Bob Eden, City Attorney W. H. Dillahunty,
and Aldermen: R. C. Bowie, Kirby Leggett, Paul Matthews, C. H. Rowton, and Franklin Bassett.
Absent: Aldermen: Earl Felts, Francis Weis, and 0. I. Bollinger.
It being determined a quorum was present, the following proceedings were had to-wit:
Minutes of Council Meeting on April 21, 1966, were approved as read.
Mr. C. H. Bond, Jr. of Bond Engineering Co., Inc. presented a Preliminary Plat of
Holiday Gardens 1st Addition to the City for discussion prior to preparation of a final
plat. The Council was informed of the recommendations of the Planning Commission as to
pavement widths of streets, access to the subdivision, thru traffic hazards, parking
problems, street widths, elevation of the land, area for playground, and the construction
of bridges were discussed.
No further business berg presented, the meeting was adjourned.
