A RESOLUTION TO CREATE WITHIN THE WEST MEMPHIS FIRE
DEPARTMENT THE POSITIONS OF DEPUTY INSPECTOR AND EMS
ADMINISTRATOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Fire Commission has considered and approved the creation of the positions of
Deputy Inspector and EMS Administrator for the West Memphis Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the salaries for the positions of Deputy Inspector and EMS Administrator for the
West Memphis Fire Department have been appropriated in the present budget at the rate of
compensation of $1795.00 per pay period; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish within the West Memphis Fire Department
the positions of Deputy Inspector and EMS Administrator at the rate of compensation of $1795.00 per
pay period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created within the West Memphis Fire Department the positions
of Deputy Inspector and EMS Administrator which shall be at the rate of compensation of $1795.00

SECTION 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of any such conflict.
