AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR SUNBELT CAR
WASH SERVICES,PERMITTING A CAR WASH IN A C-1,GENERAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission,on,
April 28, 2021,for a Special Use Permit allowing a car wash at 600 W. Service Rd as
required by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, and the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Use Permit allowing a allowing a car wash in a C-1
General Business District, subject to criteria listed below.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
600 W. Service Rd.
West Memphis, AR
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit for a car wash in a C-1 General
Business District, subject to the following criteria:
1. In accordance with approved site plan, attached;
2. Proper execution of all Certificates;
3. Installation of grading and drainage improvements as required by the City
Engineer;
4. Approval of the improvement plans by the West Memphis Utility Department, as
to easements;
5. Installation of storm water management requirements and other improvements, as
required by the City Engineer.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed. �� -
