RESOLUTION COMMENDING ROBERT "BRIAN" REECE
FOR HIS SERVICE ON THE WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Robert "Brian" Reece was elected to serve as Alderman from
Ward One, Position 1, on the West Memphis City Council where he served for six
years and having worked with two mayors administration of this great city; and
WHEREAS, Brian Reece has been exemplary in serving his constituents in
Ward 1 and has always been instrumental in exploring avenues to improve the
conditions of the city; and
WHEREAS, Brian Reece bas made a positive impact on our city and
hopefully will be willing to serve in a similar advisory type capacity in city
government; and
WHEREAS, Brian Reece due to new job responsibilities decided to
relinquish his seat on the city council to make sure Ward 1, Position Z was given
first priority representation; and
WHEREAS, Brian Reece during his tenure with the city council has served
on Fire Commission, Public Works Commission, Personnel Committee, Airport
Commission, Design Review Commission and Advertising and Promotion
Committee; and
WHEREAS, Brian Reece has been known for his progressive, positive and
active attitude to all of his endeavors while serving Ward 1, Position 1; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has been fortunate to have the
service, dedication and outgoing personality of Robert "Brian" Reece on the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS that Robert "Brian" Reece be
commended for his service and dedication to the citizens of West Memphis.
