A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO
CLOSE PORTIONS OF CAMP STREET, EAST MONROE AVENUE, EAST
MADISON AVENUE AND EAST FRISCO STREET.
R'HEREAS, pursuant to A.C.A. § 14-301-301, et seq., there has been filed with the City
Council of the City ofVVest Memphis, Arkansas, by tlnion Compress Warehouse Company of West
l~iemphis, L.L.C.., a petition to vacate the following streets:
All of Camp Street south of Jackson Avenue adjacent to Blocks 8, 9, 18 and 19 of the
Geo. T. Kendal Subdivision to the City of V4'est Memphis as shown by plat recorded in
Plat Book 1, Pages 24 and 25, in the office of Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio
Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas.
All of East Monroe Street adjacent to flocks 8 and 19 and Lot 1. $, Block 9 and Lot 1,
Block 18 of the Geo. T. kendal Subdivision to the City of V6'est Memphis as shown by
plat recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 24 and 25, in the office of Circuit Court Clerk and
Ex-Officio Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas.
All of East Madison Street adjacent to Lot 16, Block 18 and Block 34 of the Geo. T.
Kendal Subdivision to the City of West Memphis as shown by plat recorded in Plat
Book 1, Pages 24 and 25, in the office of Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder
of Crittenden County, Arkansas.
All of East Frisco Sti~et adjacent to the West side of Block 34 of the Geo. T. Kendal
Subdivision to the City of West Memphis as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 1,
Pages 24 and 2 S, in the office of Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of
Crittenden County, Arkansas.
and said Petitioner prays that the City Council fix a day for the hearing on said petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST ME1~IPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT said petition to vacate the above described streets in
the City of West 141emphis, Arkansas, be set down for a hearing on the 17th day afMay, 2001, at 1:30
p.m. at the City Council Chambers, West Memphis City Hall, 205 South Redding, West Memphis,
Arkansas, and that the City Clerk give notice as required by law of the hearing to be held.
