A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS RECEIVED
PURSUANT TO A.C.A. §23-111-__>03 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, A.C.A. X23-111-503 authorizes each dog racing franchise holder to conduct tlu-ee additional
days of racing at an} dog racing meet with one third of the net proceeds to be deposited with the city treasurer or
collector of the cin~ in which the dog racing track is located for credit to the cit<~ general fund to be used for
charitable purposes only.. as determined by the Mayor and governing body; and
WHEREAS, the Cite of West Memphis has received $13546.28 from Southland Racing Corporation and it
is the desire of the Mavor and the Cit<~ Council that these fluids be distributed as follows:

111-5U3 be distributed to the charitable organizations in the amounts set out above, leaving a balance of $2,462.96.
