A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THE WEST MEMPHIS SCHOOL DISTRICT TO
LOOK INTO THE POSSIBILITY OF BRINGING ALL PROPERTY NORTH OF THE
PRESENT WEST MEMPHIS SCHOOL DISTRICT BOUNDARY AND WITHIN THE
WEST MEMPHIS CITY LIMITS WITHIN THE WEST MEMPHIS SCHOOL
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, there presently exists property within the city limits of the City of West
Memphis which is not included within the West Memphis School District; and,
WHEREAS, the West Memphis City Council desires to encourage the West Memphis
School District to take such action as may be necessary or required to include all property in the
City of West Memphis within the West Memphis School District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, that the West Memphis City Council requests that
the West Memphis School District look into the possibility of bringing all property north of the
present West Memphis School District boundary and within the existing city limits of the City of
West Memphis within the West Memphis School District.
