AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN A C-2, OPEN DISPLAY
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO ALLOW A GRANITE COUNTER TOP
FABRICATOR, AT 1011 E. SERVICE ROAD, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to allow a
Special Use Permit to allow a granite counter top fabricator, in a C-2, Open Display Commercial
District, as required by Ordinance 1988.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as provided by
Ordinance No. 1988, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on
December 18, 2002, and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special Use Permit be
granted to allow a granite counter top fabricator, in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District,
with the following criteria:
The landscaping shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Planning and
Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
1011 E. Service Road
Lot 9, Taylor-Hemenway Subdivision
West Memphis, Arkansas
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, permitting a granite counter top
fabricator, in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District, subject to the following criteria:
The landscaping shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Planning and
Development.
SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
