RESOLUTION NO. ~ ~ ~ ~
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR GENERAL
PURPOSES AT 2.0 MILLS AND FOR THE PUBLIC CITY LIBRARY AT 0.4
MILLS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. A tax of 2.0 mills (.0020) upon the dollar or millage rate as would be determined by the
Roll-Back Provisions implementing legislation to Amendment No. 59 for general purposes; and
2. A tax of 0.4 mills (.0004) upon the dollar or millage rate as would be determined by the
Roll-Back Provisions implementing legislation to Amendment No. 59 for the public city library;
Be and hereby are levied upon the assessed value of all real property within the limits of
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, for the year 2002; and
That personal property rates for the tax year 2002 shall be calculated by the County Clerk
based upon the Roll-Back Provisions of Amendment No. 59; and
That the City Clerk of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby directed to deliver a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the County Court of Crittenden County,
Arkansas, for the tax books for the year 2002.
