A RESOLUTION FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE 2002 OPERATING BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
WHEREAS, William H. Johnson, as Mayor of the City of West Memphis, in accordance
with A.C.A. fi 14-58-201, submitted to the City Council of the City of West Memphis a proposed
budget for the operation of the city for the year 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed budget has been distributed to all city departments for
proposed changes and amendments since December 1, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, A.C.A. § 14-58-202 directs that the governing body of the municipality shall,
on or before February 1 of each year, adopt a budget for the operation of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the 2002 Budget amended as follows:
Mayor Secretary from pay grade 14 to pay grade 18; Paralegal for City Attorney from pay grade
13 to pay grade 15; and, Shop Secretary from a pay grade 12 to a pay grade 14, for the City of
West Memphis be approved.
