2589 ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR ALLIED GROUP
REALITY, PERMITTING A CONVENIENCE STORE AND FUEL SALES IN A
C-1,GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on,
September 29, 2021, for a Special Use Permit allowing a convenience store and fuels
sales at 100 W Broadway as required by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, September 29,2021, and the Planning Commission
recommended approval of a Special Use Permit allowing a convenience store and fuel
sales in a C-1 General Business District, subject to criteria listed below.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
100 West Broadway
West Memphis, AR
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit for a convenience store and fuel
sales in a C-1 General Business District, subject to the following criteria:
I. In accordance with approved site plan, attached.
2. Proper execution of all Certificates;
3. Installation of grading and drainage improvements as required by the City
Engineer;
4. Approval of the improvement plans by the West Memphis Utility Department, as
to easements;
5. Installation of storm water management requirements and other improvements, as
required by the City Engineer.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
