A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID ENHANCEMENT MONIES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, understands Federal-

Aid Surface Transportation Enhancement funds are available at 80% Federal participation and 20%
local cash match for the following project: transportation enhancement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of West Memphis, Arkansas, will participate in accordance with its
designated responsibility, including maintenance of this project.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby authorized and
directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction
of the above stated improvement.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, pledges its full
support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate
action to implement this project.
