A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE WEST MEMPHIS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
FROM CVE, CONSERVATION EXTRA-TERRITORIAL TO PUD, PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT FOR CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY LOCATED ON MOUND
CITY ROAD.
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning Commission on Apri124,
2002, the West Memphis Planning Commission considered and recommended a change in
the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from CVE, Conservation Extra-Territorial to
PUD, Planned Unit Development, of the following described property, as follows:
Common Address: 4391- 4401 Dacus Road
Legal Description: 16.45 acres lying in Spanish Grant 2290, T-7-N, R-9-E,
Crittenden County Arkansas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the West line of Section 27 with the North line
of Spanish Grant 2290, said point on the existing city limits of West Memphis, Arkansas as
adopted by Resolution No. 1638, dated February 3, 2000, thence N85*23'14"E along the
existing city limits a distance of 186.35 feet to a point in the centerline of Military Road and
the point of beginning; thence N79*42' 11 "E along the centerline of Military Road a
distance of 370.0 feet to a point; thence N 07*28'35:W a distance of 325.0 feet to a point on
the centerline of Military Road; thence N79*42'll"E along the centerline of Military Road
a distance of 28.24 feet; thence N82*15'34"E along the centerline of Military Road a
distance of 312.10 feet to a point; thence SO1*12'38"W a distance of 354.92 feet to a point;
thence S68*04'47"E a distance of 72.99 feet to a point on the land side right of way of the
St. Francis Levee District; thence S44*43'40"W along said right of way a distance of 235.59
feet to a point; thence N48*22'37"W along said right of way a distance of 21.81 feet to a
point; thence S38*24'41"W along said right of way a distance of 1140.75 feet to a point on
the existing city limits; thence N07*28'35"W along the existing city limits a distance of
1272.81 feet to the point of beginning, containing 16.45 acres more or less.
and the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended
from CVE, Conservation Extra-Territorial to PUD, Planned Unit Development, of the
following described property:
