A RESOLUTION SETTING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR THE PUBLIC CITY
LIBRARY AT 01.8 MILLS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
A tax of 1.8 mills (.0018) upon the dollar or millage rate as would be determined by the
Roll-Back Provisions implementing legislation to Amendment No. 59 for the public city library;
Be and hereby is levied upon the assessed value of all real property within the limits of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, for the year 2003; and
That personal property rates for the tax year 2003 shall be calculated by the County Clerk
based upon the Roll-Back Provisions of Amendment No. 59; and
That the City Clerk of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, is hereby directed to deliver a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the County Court of Crittenden County, Arkansas,
for the tax books for the year 2003.
