A RESOLUTION COMMENDING TRACY CATT FOR HIS SERVICE ON THE
WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt was elected to serve as Alderman from Ward One,
Position 2, on the West Memphis City Council where he has served ten years and
having worked with the administration of three mayors of this great city; and
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt has wholeheartedly represented his constituents in
Ward One and all the citizens of West Memphis during the service on the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt is known for his a%pertise in financial planning,
insurance, writing resolutions to fit any given situation and he strongly believes in
hearing from the full council members on controversial issues; and
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt has been very supportive of the needs of city
employees dealing with insurance and budget issues; and
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt's service to the City of West Memphis for the past
ten years has included serving as Budget Chairman, Insurance Chairman, Police
Commission member, Personnel Committee, Public Works Commission, Fire
Commission member and Liaision for Design Review Commission, Planning
Commission and Parks Commission; and
WHEREAS, Tracy Catt has brought a progressive, positive, and active
attitude to all of his endeavors as a respresentative of the City of West Memphis;
and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has been fortunate to have the
service, dedication and outgoing personality of Tracy Catt on the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT Tracy Catt be commended
for his service and dedication to the citizens of West Memphis.
