2259 RESOLUTION NO. 2
A RESOLUTION TO CREATE WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS THE
POSITION OF CITY MAINTENANCE MANAGER AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis has considered and approved the
creation of the position of City Maintenance Manager for the City of West Memphis and the West
Memphis Utilities; and
WHEREAS,the salary range for the position of City Maintenance Manager has been
appropriated in the present budget at the starting rate of compensation of$33.00 hourly and the top rate
of$39.00 hourly; and
WHEREAS,the City Maintenance Manger will manage, oversee and operate the West
Memphis Utilities maintenance shop and the City of West Memphis maintenance shop and will report
to the Mayor for the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS,the City Council desires to establish within the City of West Memphis the
position of City Maintenance Manager at the starting rate of compensation of$33.00 hourly and the
top rate of$39.00 hourly;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created within the City of West Memphis the position of City
Maintenance Manager which shall be at the starting rate of compensation of$33.00 hourly and the top
rate of$39.00 hourly.
SECTION 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of any such conflict.
