AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN A C-1, GENERAL
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO ALLOW A COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENT USE, AT
119 SOUTH 12TH STREET, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission
requesting a Special Use Permit to allow a Commercial Amusement Use, in a C-1, General
Commercial District, as required by Ordinance 1988.
WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission, on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 and the Planning Commission
recommended that a Special Use Permit be granted to allow a Commercial Amusement
Use, in a C-1, General Commercial District, subject to the following criteria:
1. Design Review Commission approval;
2. Comply with all applicable codes in regards to the remodel and the addition
to the existing structure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
119 South 12th Street
Lot 25-28, Block 115, Kendal Subdivision
City of West Memphis, Crittenden County Arkansas.
be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, allowing a Commercial
Amusement Use, in a C-1, General Commercial District, with the following criteria:
1. Design Review Commission approval;
2. Comply with all applicable codes in regards to the remodel and the addition
to the existing structure.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
