A RESOLUTION 'I'O AUTHORIZE PAY RAISES FOR WEST MEMPHIS CHIEF OF POLICE,
WEST MEMPHIS FIRE CHIEF AND DATA PROCESSING MANAGER, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS. ~t is the recommendation of the Budget Committee that the annual salary for the West
Memphis Chief of Police be increased by ten percent (10`%,). the annual salary for the West Memphis Fire
Chief be increased b~~ ten percent (10'%), and the annual salarn for the Manager of the Data Processing
Department be increased b~~ thirteen and one-half percent (l 3 '/ ).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, :1RKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The annual salar< for the West Memphis Chief of Police is hereby increased by ten
percent (10'%,).
SECTION 2. The annual salar<~ for the West Memphis Fire Chief is hereby increased by ten
percent (I 0`%,).
SECTION 3. The annual salar<~ for the Manager of the Data Processing Department is hereby
increased by thirteen ~_~ ~d one-half percent (1 ~ %).
SECTION 4_ All in~re~ases in wages as set out abo~~e shall be effective as of August 1, 2003.
