RESOLUTION NO~~
A RESOLUTION TO CREATE WITHIN THE WEST MEMPHIS POLICE
DEPARTMENT A THIRD INSPECTORS POSITION, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS.. the West Memphis Police Department currently has two Inspector positions;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need for a third Inspector position in the West Memphis Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the salary for the new Inspector's position will be appropriated from the
existing budget at the same rate of compensation as the previously established positions of Inspector
for the West Memphis Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish within the West Memphis Police
Department a third Inspector position at the same rate of compensation as the established position of
Inspector for the Wcst Memphis Police Department;
NOW, THI'REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS THAT:
SECTION I There is hereby created within the West Memphis Police Department a third
Inspector position which shall be at the same rate of compensation as the established position of
Inspector for the WPSt Memphis Police Department.
SECTION ~. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of any such conflict.
