1784RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLtTION TO RATIFY AND CONFIRM THE ACTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING THE CREATION OF A SUMMER INTERN
POSITION WITH THE ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, at its May 20, 2004, meeting the West Memphis City Council voted to approve
a motion creating a summer intern position with the Advertising and Promotion Commission; and
WHEREAS, a question has arisen as to whether the motion was properly on the agenda for
the City Council to consider; and
WHEREAS., the City Council desires to ratify and confirm its action of approving the
creation of the position of a summer intern with the Advertising and Promotion Commission and that
such action should he any hereby is, ratified and confirmed in all respects as the properly authorized
action on behalf of the City of West Memphis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, .ARKANSAS, THAT the action of the West Memphis City Council in
approving the creation of a summer intern position with the Advertising and Promation Commission
is hereby ratified and confirmed in all respects as the properly authorized action of the City of West
Memphis and as properly authorized as of the time of such action.
