A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS TO
ACCEPT THE DONATION OF REAL PROPERTY VALUED AT $55,000.00
FROM RALPH C. CARLSON AND WALTER J. CARLSON.
WHEREAS, Ralph C. Carlson and Walter J. Carlson are the owners of the real property
described as the South 166.3 feet of Lot 24 of the Horsley Subdivision to the City of West Memphis,
Crittenden County, Arkansas, which has been appraised at a value of $55,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have offered to donate said real property to the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis desires to accept the donation of said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Upon presentation of a donation deed, the Mayor is hereby authorized to accept
on behalf of the City of West Memphis the donation of the real property described as the South 166.3
feet of Lot 24 of the Horsley Subdivision to the City of West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas;
SECTION 2. The City of West Memphis expresses its gratitude to Ralph C. Carlson and
Walter J. Carlson and acknowledges receipt of the donation of the above described real property valued
at $55,000.00.
