A RESOLUTION TO RENAME THE WEST SERVICE ROAD AND THE
EAST SERVICE ROAD NORTH OF INTERSTATES 40 AND 55 AS THE
NORTH WEST SERVICE ROAD AND THE NORTH EAST SERVICE
ROAD, RESPECTIVELY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the designation of the service roads along the north and south sides of
[nterstates 40 and 55 as West Service Road and East Service Road has created confusion which
should be resolved to assist emergency personnel and the motoring public in general;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The West Service Road north of Interstates 40 and 55 is hereby renamed as
North West Service Road.
5ECTION 2. The East Service Road north of Interstates 40 and 55 is hereby renamed as
North East Service Road.
