RESOLUTION OF THE CITYCOUNCIL OFD ~ OO B~~~ S~~ p~TATE
CERTIFYINGLOCAL GOVEI~NMENTEND
- IN THE A.RS,ANSAS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1995.
'~ WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to participate in the
' Arkansas Economic Development Act program and benefit from the refunds/tax credits as provided
in the Arkansas Economic Development Act of 1995; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available from AFDC; and
WHEREAS, Stafford Railsteel, LLC located at West Memphis, Arkansas, has sought to participate
in the program and more specifically has requested benefits accruing from construction of the specific
facility; and
WHEREAS, Stafford Railsteel, LLC has agreed to furnish the local government all necessary
information for compliance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT.•
Stafford Railsteel, LLC be endorsed by the City of West Memphis, Arkansas for benefits from
the refunds/tax credits as provided in the Arkansas Economic Development Act of 1995.
2. The Department of Finance and Administration be authorized to refund local sales and use
taxes to Stafford Railsteel, LLC.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
