A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF A SEWER USE
AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE
SEWER USE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS AND THE WEST MEMPHIS UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Utility Commission has considered and approved the use
of a Sewer Use Agreement for the purpose of extending wastewater services to industrial users
pending annexation of their property to the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the City of West
~~lemphis to extend wastewater services to industrial users pending the annexation of their
property to the City of West Memphis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITI' OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the Sewer Use Agreement is hereby
approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Sewer Use Agreement in order to extend
wastewater services to industrial users pending the annexation of their property to the City of
West Memphis.
