A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ON THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: THE SOUTH 1300 FEET OF LOT 2i, J.C.
RAINER SUBDIVISION, CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS AS SHOWN IN PLAT
OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 2 AT PAGE 13 LYING IN THE SOUTH 1/2 SECTION 10,
T-6-N-R-8-E, ALSO KNOWN AS 5788 WEST HWY. 70, FROM CONSERVATION TO
INDUSTRIAL.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission to change the
Comprehensive Plan for the here-in-after described property, and after having been
published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended,
the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on Wednesday, February 24,1999,
and the Planning Commission recommended that the application be approved and the City
Council finds that such application should be granted to change the Comprehensive Plan
for the following property from Conservation, to Industrial:
The South 1300 feet of Lot 21, J.C. Rainer Subdivision, Crittenden County,
Arkansas as shown in plat of record in plat book 2 at page 13 lying in the South 1/2 Section
10, T-6-N-R 8-E, also known as: 5788 West Highway 70.
WHEREAS, no persons appeared to protest against said zoning as requested; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis approved said
petition and recommends that said Comprehensive Plan Change be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended from Conservation to
Industrial with respect to:
The South 1300 feet of Lot 21, J.C. Rainer Subdivision, Crittenden County,
Arkansas as shown in plat of record in plat book 2 at page 13 lying in the South 1/2 Section
10, -T-6-N-R-8-E, also known as, 5788 West Highway 70.
