A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, SUPPORTING, THE PARTI-
CIPATION OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS IN THE
CRITTENDEN-CROSS ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY INITIATIVE
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has recognized the signif-
icant opportunity, for social and economic development to the
people of Crittenden and Cross Counties afforded through collabo-
rative support of the Crittenden/Cross County Enterprise Communi-
ty Initiative.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has recognized that the
Planning process guiding this important undertaking represents a
broad based inclusion of appropriate representatives from the
public and private sectors.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis is desirous to participate
in the Crittenden-Cross Enterprise Community initiative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That the City of West Memphis is willing and interested
in supporting this effort.
2. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to respond to
any request for these or other necessary resources that can help
advance this process. The West Memphis City Council will make
every effort to provide those resources and participate in cur-
rent asdonu of the developmentnplan for Crltt nden/Cross 1County
submis
Enterprise Community Initiative.
3. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to provide
additional information to the United States Department of Agri-
culture.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
