A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF A LIEN FOR
GRASS CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF NEST
MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1382 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as a lien against certain
property within the City of West Memphis, including that property
located at 402-404 South 11th Street, Lots 2-3, Blk. 86, Kendal,
for grass cutting services perfarmed by the City of West Memphis
pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
MHEREAS, Resolution 1382 certified charges of $ 70.44 to be
placed as a lien against the property owned by Edgar and Donnie
McWright at 402 - 404 South 11th Street, Lots 2-3, Blk. 86,
Kendal, in West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement
Office that the notices required by Ordinance 1385 for grass
cutting services performed at 400 South 11th Street, Lot 1, Blk.
86, Kendal, were inadvertently mailed to the owner of 402-404
South 11th Street in West Memphis rather than the proper address
of 400 South 11th Street in West Memphis, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement
Office that the liens placed against the property located at 402 -
404 South 11th Street, Lots 2-3, Blk. 86, Kendal, Edgar and Donnie
McWright, West Memphis, Arkansas by Resolution 1382 be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:

1. The liens imposed by Resolution 1382 pursuant to the
authority of Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by Edgar
and Donnie McWright at 402 - 404 South filth Street, Lots 2-3,
Blk. 86, Kendal, in West Memphis, Arkansas, are hereby authorized
to be removed;
2. The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a
copy of this Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's
Office and to the property owner.
