A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REZlOVAL OF A LIEN FOR
GRASS CUTTING SERVICES PERFORI"IED HY THE CITY OF WEST
ME1lPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1382 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as a lien against certain
property within the City of West Memphis, including that property
located at 527-529 South 13th Street, Lots 32-33, Blk. 89, Kendal,
for grass cutting services performed by the City of West Memphis
pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1382 certified charges of S 70.44 to be
placed as a lien against the property owned by George W. Johnson,
Jr. at 527 - 529 South 13th Street, Lots 32-33, Blk. 89, Kendal,
in West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement
Office that the notices required by Ordinance 1385 for grass
cutting services performed at 531-533 South 13th Street. Lots
34-35, Blk. 89, Kendal, were inadvertently mailed to the owner of
527-529 South 13th Street in West Memphis rather than the proper
address of 531-533 South 13th Street in West Memphis, Arkansas;
and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement
Office that the liens placed against the property located at 527 -
529 South 13th Street, Lots 32-33, Blk. 89, Kendal, George W.
Johnson, Jr.. West Memphis, Arkansas by Resolution 1382 be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE. HE IT RESOLVED HY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST 2lEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT : R E C E I V E D

1. The liens imposed by Resolution 1382 pursuant to the
authority of Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by George
W. Johnson, Jr. at 527 - 529 South 13th Street, Lots 32-33, Blk.
89, Kendal, in West Memphis, Arkansas. are hereby authorized to be
removed;
2. The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a
copy of this Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's
Office and to the property owner.
