FEDERAL-AID ENHANCEMENT PROJECT RESOLUTION
EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID MONIES
WHEREAS, the city of West Memphis understands Federal-Aid
Surface Transportation Enhancement funds are available at S0~
Federal participation and 20$ local cash match for the following
project:
Broadway Revitalization-Sidewalks and Landscaping
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of West Memphis will
participate in accordance with its designated responsibility in-
cluding maintenance of this project.
SECTION II: The mayor of the City of West Memphis is hereby
authorized and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and
contracts necessary to expedite the construction of the above
stated improvement.
SECTION III: The city of West Memphis pledges its full
support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and
Transportation Department to initiate action to implement this
project.
