A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, an essential element of effective organization is

to have clearly established lines of responsibility and
authority; and
WHEREAS, the organization of municipal government involves
many levels, all of which ultimately answer to the citizens of
West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of an organizational chart helps
to define the lines of authority and responsibility and can
assist in the efficient operation of municipal government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY (:OUNCIL OF THE

CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the attached organizational
chart is hereby adopted as the official organizational chart for
the City of West Memphis.
