A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF A LIEN FOR GRASS
CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1415 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as liens against certain
property within the City of West Memphis, including that property
located at 1211 E. Barton, for grass cutting services performed by
the City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1415 certified charges of $110.54 to be
placed as a lien against the property owned by HUD at 1211 E.
Barton in West Memphis for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement
Office that records indicate the property was in foreclosure at the
time it was cut by the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement
Office that the lien of $110.54 placed against the property located
at 1211 E. Barton in West Memphis by Resolution 1415 be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The liens imposed by Resolution 1415 pursuant to the
authority of Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by HUD at
1211 E. Barton in West Memphis, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to
be removed;
2 . The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy
of this Resolution to the Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office
and to the property owner.
