A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO DONATE CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY TO THE GOOD NEIGHBOR CENTER, INC., FOR PURPOSES OF
THE HOPE 3 PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the following real property to wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 113, of the Kendal Subdivision in
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas.
STREET ADDRESS: 122-124 South 9th Street, West Memphis,
Arkansas.
has been donated to the City of West Memphis by Sam Saig &
Sons, Inc., a corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis desires to donate this
property to the Good Neighbor Center, Inc., for purposes of
the HOPE 3; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis
finds that the donation of this property for this purpose
would be in the best interest of the citizens of West Memphis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT the donation of the
property described as
Lots 11 and 12, Block 113, of the Kendal Subdivision in
the City of West Memphis, Arkansas.
STREET ADDRESS: 122-124 South 9th Street, West Memphis,
Arkansas.
is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a donation deed conveying the above
described property from the City of West Memphis, Arkansas to
the Good Neighbor Center, Inc.
