A RESOLUTION, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1475
CHANGING THE FACILITY NAME TO WATKINS TERMINALS
INC.
WHEREAS, the Resolution No. 1475 was adopted certifying local
government endorsement of Watkins Motor Lines, Inc. to be
located at 3301 Mid America Boulevard to participate in the
Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program of 1993 and authorizing the
Mayor and the City Clerk to sign the certificate of local
government endorsement and other forms, as required, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to change the name
from Watkins Motor Lines, Inc. to Watkins Terminals, Inc.
throughout Resolution No. 1475.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council OF the
City of West Memphis, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. Watkins Terminals, Inc. be endorsed by the City Council of
West Memphis, Arkansas for benefits from the refunds/tax
credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program
Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999.
2. the Department of Finance and Administration be authorized
to refund the local sales and use taxes to Watkins Terminals,
Inc.
3. this resolution shall take effect immediately.
