A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF TWO LIENS FOR GRASS
CUTTING SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 1463 and Resolution 1465 adopted by the West Memphis City
Council certified charges to be placed as liens against certain property within the City of West
,, Memphis, including that property located at 106-124 W. Harrison, for grass cutting services
performed by the City of West Memphis pursuant to Ordinance 1385; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1463 certified charges of $136.16 and Resolution 1465 certified
chazges of $99.84 to be placed as liens against the property owned by Mid City Partnership at 106-
124 W. Harrison in West Memphis for grass cutting; and
WHEREAS,it has come to the attention of the Code Enforcement Office that the liens were
placed on the lots incorrectly; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Office that the lien of
$136.16 placed against the property located at 106-124 W. Harrison in West Memphis by Resolution
1463 and the lien of $99.84 placed against 106-124 W. Harrison in West Memphis by Resolution
1465 be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The liens imposed by Resolution 1463 and 1465 pursuant to the authority of
Ordinance 1385 against the property owned by Mid City Partnership at 106-124 W. Harrison in West
Memphis, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to be removed;
2. The Code Enforcement Office is directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the
Crittenden County Tax Collector's Office and to the property owner.
