A RESOLUTION COMMENDING BILL POLLARD FOR HIS SERVICE
ON THE WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Bill Pollard was appointed to serve the remainder of an unexpired term as
Alderman from Ward Three, Position One, on the West Memphis City Council beginning October
20, 1994 and subsequently re-elected one time; and
WHEREAS, Bill Pollard has admirably represented his constituents in Ward Three and all
of the citizens of West Memphis during his service on the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Bill Pollard's service to the City of West Memphis has included serving as
chairman of the Public Works Committee, the Police Commission, the Personnel Committee, the
Airport Commission, and the Cablevision Committee; and
WHEREAS, Bill Pollard has brought a progressive, positive and active attitude to all of his
endeavors as a representative of the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis has been fortunate to have the service, dedication
and outgoing personality of Bill Pollard on the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT Bill Pollard be commended for his service and
dedication to the citizens of West Memphis.
