A RESOLUTION TO REPEAL RESOLUTION I~ q ~ AND TO SET
THE TIME OF THE SECOND REGULAR MEETING OF EACH MONTH
OF THE WEST MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL AT 1:30 PM
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution ~_ to

change the time of the council's second regular meeting of each
month from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to determine whether evening
meetings would result in increased attendance by the public at
city council meetings; and
WHEREAS, attendance by the public at evening meetings has
not been significantly different from attendance at afternoon
meetings and it is the desire of the council to return to
afternoon meetings for the second regular meeting of each month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The time of the second regular meeting of each month
of the West Memphis City Council is hereby set at 1:30 p.m.
2. Resolution _ is specifically repealed and all
other resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
