A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ON THE FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED PROPERTY, (101 MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE, ALSO KNOWN AS
A 36.15 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 16, T-6-N, R-9-E,
CRITTENDEN COUNTY, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS).
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the West Memphis Planning Commission on December, 18
1996, the Planning Commission considered and recommended a change in the West Memphis
Comprehensive Plan from Mobile Home Residential to Commercial on the following described
lands, and the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan should
be granted: NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
That the West Memphis Comprehensive Plan be amended from Mobile Home Residential
to Commercial with respect to:
A 36.15 acre tract of land lying in the NE 1!4 of Section l 6, T-6-N, R-9-E, City of West
Memphis, Crittenden County ,Arkansas and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the N. W. corner of the NE 1/4 of said Section 16, thence N89*59' 31" JE
a distance of 45.0 feet, thence S00* 20' S8" W a distance of 39.36 feet, thence along a
curve that breaks to the left with a radius of 1010.06 feet an arc length of 188.24 feet,
thence along a curve that breaks to the right with a radius of 1158. 17 feet an arc length of
196.89 feet to the point of beginning, thence continue along said curve an arc length of
13.46 feet, thence S00* 04' 34" W a distance of 1111.82 feet, thence along a curve that
breaks to the right with a radius of 776.20 feet an arc length of 394.48 feet to a point on
the north right-of--way line of the St. Francis Levee District, tbence N76* 07' 06" E along
said right-of--way a distance of 1295. 25 feet, thence N00* 12'48" E a distance of 1217.43
feet, thence S88*45'07"W a distance of 1162.16 feet to the point of beginning containing
36.15 acres more or less.
